Romain is a creative developer and digital designer. Following his graphic design studies in Liège and another year learning front-end development in Brussels, he quickly moved to London where he worked as a front-end developer and designer in multiple agencies for five years. He made a detour in Luxembourg, then spent 2 more years in Geneva.
He’s currently living and working as a freelancer in Belgium (or somewhere else).
TWOAfter a decade of experience in the digital field, his curiosity spans from digital to analog, from motion design to typography.
He’s currently experimenting with generative design with CSS as a creative tool, with a strong focus on typography, as well as creating visuals using analog tools such as a photographic enlarger and gelatine silver print, among other printing processes.
THREEHis digital and analog work has been featured multiple times online on platforms such as Brutalist Website (RIP), Hoverstat.es, Site Inspire, Codrops, Awwwards, Site of Sites, or Mindsparkle, to name a few.
He has been published in books: Typography for screen - Type in Motion by Sandu Publishing and more recently in Slanted 40 - Experimental type 2.0 by Slanted Publishers.
